| Harrisburg City 3rd Alarm Job! | |||||||||||
| Saturday, February 25, 2006 While on stand-by in City Station 1 for a third alarm assignment, Truck 50 and the other stand-by crews were quickly toned out for a reported structure fire at 2424 Jefferson Street. Dauphin County Fire Dispatchers advised that they were receiving multiple calls for a working fire on Jefferson Street. Truck 50 and Cumberland Engine 2-13 (Wormleysburg) responded from Station 1 while Engine 40 (Paxtang), Truck 34(Paxtonia), and Rescue 44 (Lawnton) responded from Station 2, and City Wagon 3 and Tower 2 responded from the scene of the previous 3rd alarm fire. Truck 50 arrived on scene to find heavy fire in 2 structures with fire extending into a 3rd structure and heavy fire blowing across Jefferson Street. City Chief 2 arrived on scene and quickly struck consecutive multiple alarms. Truck 50 went into service with Engine 40 and Engine 37-1 providing water for the Trucks master stream operations.
